Destination weddings
The quiet inhale before the aisle. The vows that catch. The roar when the music hits.
Every wedding day is a living, breathing story. The work preserves the movement, sound and atmosphere that photographs alone cannot carry, so you return to the feeling and not just the moment. I follow the story wherever it leads, across states, borders and oceans.
A destination wedding is an immersion, not a change of scenery. The place shapes the story: the light, the language, the landscape, the customs. Good filmmaking folds the destination into the narrative rather than merely documenting it.
Sight & setting
I scout in person or virtually to map light, wind, sound and guest flow, so the day stays natural while each moment is quietly anticipated.
Story over staging
Gentle direction when it is needed, letters and first-look timing, and the rest left to unfold. The film should feel lived in, never overproduced.
Sound as memory. Vows, toasts and ambient field sound become the spine of the story. Without sound it is a montage. With sound it is a memory.
Investment. Most couples allocate between $4,000 and $8,000 depending on travel, hours, number of filmmakers and deliverables.
Home base
Florida Keys - where I live. Key Largo through Key West.

Begin with what matters most: vows, speeches, dance floor, landscape. Then decide whether your story lives in a single day or across a weekend. On a call we map the flow and recommend coverage that supports it.
It becomes part of the story. We plan contingencies for gear and audio, adjust timelines with your planner, and lean into the atmosphere. Rain, wind and golden-hour surprises often make the most emotive scenes.
Aerials go in when they serve the story, when it is legal, and when conditions are safe. If flying is not possible we create scale with lenses, movement and layered sound.
Videography records events as they happen. Cinematography tells a story with composition, pacing, sound and colour. The work blends both.
Yes, across the US and internationally. The city pages for Charleston, the Florida Keys and Minneapolis go into local detail; this page is the home base for destination work.
